Working with schools in our area
We have a close relationship with the schools in our local area - called our School Development Group. With this group of schools, we work in unison on a variety of activities:
- moderation of learning - where we share learning in all areas and decide if we agree on the standard. We share anonymous pieces of work, and look for evidence of working at age related objectives. This enables is to feel secure that our judgements are in line with other schools.
- shared staff meetings and professional development
- shared leadership support - through observations of teaching and learning, discussions of school priorities and evaluations of shared priorities
Through our PE partnerships, we also participate in a range of activities with the children. We take part in a range of events including:
- archery
- football
- tennis
- athletics
